We’re currently hiring for the following positions:

• Kitchen Hand
• Outlet Assistant

About the roles:

Kitchen Hand

As a Kitchen Hand, you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable multitasking to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service. 

You will also be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: 

• Pre-service kitchen preparation.
• Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all dishes are served on time and meet presentation guidelines.
• Preparation of all ingredients and menu items
• Maintaining food safety, WHS and HACCAP standards
• Responsible for ensuring the kitchen is always a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
• Assume some responsibility of all kitchen duties, ordering and compliance.

Outlet Assistant

• Preparing sandwiches, wraps, and other items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Clean and maintain general kitchen areas, including dishwashing and waste management. 
• Unpack and sign off deliveries, ensuring stock is rotated and packed away properly. 
• Ensuring all food is prepared and handled in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked food preparation area.
• Serving customers efficiently and courteously.
• Working as part of a team to meet daily service targets and standards.

The Successful Candidate

To be considered, you must display the following: 

• Outlet Assistant/Sandwich Hand: Minimum 1 year of hospitality experience in a back of house role.
• Kitchen Hand: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Kitchen Hand.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving stock.
• Organised and efficient with good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn with a can-do attitude.
